Pins of the Week.

(and just because I love Mr. Carson & Ms. Hughes)
With Valentines Day on the horizon, I'm dedicating this week's favorite pins to this day o' love. As poor college students, we didn't make any elaborate plans--but that doesn't mean that it can't be special. Here's some ideas for you consider if you're on a tight budget this year, but have a special someone that you want to love up on. Whether you're crafty or not, I think you'll "love" these pins!

Recipes

Over at the Brown Eyed Baker, they've put together 140 valentines themed recipes. Ranging from "breakfast in bed" to "after-dinner dessert."

But just in case you don't feel like scrolling through the list, here's a quick link to one of my favorite recipes from the Brown Eyed Baker: Red Velvet Roll Cake

Printables

If you missed the memo and are still in need of a Valentine, or you can't spend the extra $5, go to my last post to print off my personal, FREE printables. They're not even overly sappy.

DIY

When it comes to Valentines, I immediately picture candles to help set a romantic mood. Candles can be expensive however, so here's some ideas to spice up the plain, cheap candles.

Nifty

Instead of buying pink and red cupcake liners, use the white ones that you already have and dip them to add some Valentine's flair.

Bonus!

Here's some links to ideas for activities this Valentines day. Hey, you could even save these up to use in the future! Who says it has to be for Valentines?

(Here are Jacqueline's ideas for V-day over at Raindrops on Roses!)

Happy Valentine's Planning!
